Chicot Memorial Hospital exists for only one purpose: “to serve the people of Chicot County and the surrounding area with high quality and compassionate healthcare services”. Our goal is to achieve that purpose with “respect” at all times: respect for patients, visitors, as well as, for our fellow healthcare workers.
The people of Chicot County have shown their commitment by providing us an outstanding hospital facility and modern equipment. The people have also approved a Sales Tax to support hospital operations. It is the responsibility of the Board, Medical Staff, and employees of the hospital to be good stewards of the trust bestowed upon us by the people of Chicot County. We must fulfill our obligations to meet that trust with responsible actions.
Healthcare today is being demanded at the local, state, and national levels. Change will be required at all levels as the national healthcare system is being reformed. Chicot Memorial Hospital will also implement changes in programs, services, and procedures to address various issues to respond to current economic and financial challenges. As we address these changes, we will continue to remain focused on:
- Providing outstanding clinical quality care
- Treat all persons with respect and dignity
- Protect the confidentiality of patient information
- Maintain the hospital facilities and equipment
- Operate the hospital in a financially responsible manner
I am proud to have the opportunity to work with the Board, Medical Staff, and employees of Chicot Memorial Hospital. Working together with the people of Chicot County, we look forward to serving you.
