What is our commitment?
Chicot Memorial Medical Center is committed to: providing convenient, quality healthcare services to all people in a caring, efficient, and financially responsible manner that will enhance the quality of life in our community; promoting community wellness; and, doing so with compassion, dignity, and respect for those we serve.
Why do we exist?
Chicot Memorial Medical Center exists to provide comprehensive, quality health care, appropriate to the needs of our community, in a compassionate and empathetic manner. The Hospital acknowledges the importance of preventive medicine and focuses on the promotion of a healthy lifestyle for all.
Every department within Chicot Memorial Medical Center contributes an invaluable service toward the provision of quality health care from the organization as a whole. Each department exists for a specific purpose, yet no department exists solely on its own. We are all inter-dependent upon each other.
How do we want to act along the way?
Chicot Memorial Medical Center expects the very highest standards in human behavior and values the dignity of all people through the promotion of:
Mutual respect for each other and our patients, treating each as we would want to be treated ourselves;
Trust in one another;
Commitment to the institution and the provision of quality health care;
Positive attitudes regarding the institution and our Mission; and
Open communication at all levels throughout the organization, both inter- and intra-departmentally.
Chicot Memorial Medical Center recognizes the contributions of the Board of Directors, Medical Staff, Employees, and Auxiliary, with each and every person playing an important role in the Hospital's ability to provide quality health care.
What is our desired future?
Chicot Memorial Medical Center desires to not just survive, but to prosper through the provision of comprehensive health care and the promotion of wellness to the community. In order to meet our patients' and/or payors' need for a high-quality continuum of care, Chicot Memorial Medical Center will:
Partner with physicians and other providers to develop an integrated web of services that will provide convenient and cost-effective access to care for the community.
Commit to continuously improving the quality of hospital processes, technology, staff, and physicians and develop measures to monitor our success.
Ultimately, it is Chicot Memorial Medical Center's desire to become one of the best rural primary-care hospitals in the United States.
