Nursing Services 
 | Education: | Completion of an Accredited RN Nursing Program with a current license or temporary permit as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas or compact state. |
| Experience: | Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures; ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation. Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and technicques which are essential to the nursing profession. |
| Special Skills: | Knowledge of normal hospital environment. Ability to be responsible for assessing, analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients on a daily basis. Assume Nurse Manager responsibilities as needed. Completes a competency checklist within ninety (90) days, and maintains current certification in Basic LIfe Support Course C as required. Responsible for complying with the following: (HIPAA) Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; Privacy and Security Regulations and Requirements, Compliance Issues and CMH Rules and Regulations. |
| Physical Requirements: | Exposure to biological hazards. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling using proper body mechanics. Work requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching 85 - 90% of the time. |
