Nursing Services 
 | Education: | The RN Charge Nurse shall be graduate of an accredited school of nursing. |
| Experience: | Knowledge of hospital and department policies and prodedures, patient care procedures, ability to operate technical equipment as required through orientation. Patience, tact, courtesy, initiative and effective communication skills are essential. Must have emotional stability and ability to function during stress and emergency situations. |
| Special Skills: | Completes a competency checklist within ninety (90) days, and cmpletes Basic Life Support Course C. Completion of PALS and ACLS training is preferred. Accountability Act; Privacy and Security Regulations and Requirements, Compliance Issues and CMH Rules and Regulations. |
| Physical Requirements: | Twelve (12) hours per day for each scheduled day to accomplish the specific duties of the position; required to work on unscheduled days when requested. |
| License Required: | Must have current licensure or permit as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas. |
